Downton Abbey

 Today we checked off an item on our bucket list.  We have loved “Downton Abbey” since we saw the first season and knew we wanted to visit Highclere Castle - and today we did.  Absolutely beautiful and surreal.




We did a little shopping!





The grounds and gardens are stunning and you could wander forever.

If you are ever in England take a day and go to Highclere Castle!  You won’t regret it.  Lord and Lady Carnarvon and family live at Highclere and maintain the Castle.  I can’t even imagine living in a place like this!
