Durango Silverton Railroad

 Jeff has wanted to ride this train for a while so today was the day.  It was a gorgeous day for it.  The train station is right beside our hotel.

As we left the station in Durango we passed fields full of hot air balloons.

The scenery along the way was amazing!

Silverton is not exactly what I pictured.  I know it was a mining town but it looks basically the same as it did in 1898.

We ended our day with a delicious dinner at The Roost which is right across the street from our hotel and came highly recommended.  It did not disappoint!
