Canyonlands and Mesa Verde

After a lovely night at our B&B and a delicious breakfast we were off to Canyonlands.





Canyonlands is just that - amazing canyons as far as you can see!

After a deli lunch we headed to Durango with a stop at Mesa Verde.  I am amazed at how they built entire communities into the cliff side!











We headed to Durango where we will spend the weekend.  We are staying at the General Palmer Hotel which dates back to 1898.  It is in historic Durango and the area is delightful.
